Fundraising Tips, Tricks & Requirements

Every model is encouraged to raise at minimum a total of $250. We do not want this to be a barrier to participant, so if you foresee this being an issue, please contact Megan to discuss at mhengesbaugh@gildasclubdetroit.org

FUNDRAISING IDEAS:
SOCIAL MEDIA: Share your story with your family and friends on social media. You are inspiring. The more you share, the more people will give!

ENGAGE YOUR NETWORK: Connect with businesses and organizations that you frequent. If you have someone you would like us to reach out to on your behalf, let us know. We are happy to help. Your connection will absolutely go towards your fundraising goal. Click here to review our 2024 sponsorship packet.

HOST AN EVENT: Plan and host a third party event where all funds raised will go towards your goal. A few ideas include:
1. A backyard BBQ, where instead of a dish to pass, everyone donates $10
2. Your kiddos do a lemonade stand
3. A can drive
4. Euchre tournament

We are excited to get our models involved in fundraising and are loaded with ideas, so lean on us to help!

Model Fundraising Incentives 
• $250 = 2 tickets
• $500 = 4 tickets
• $1000 = 6 tickets
• $2500 = 8 tickets
• $5000 = 12 tickets
• $10,000 = 16 tickets
