Community Dinners
GC+LH for Dinner: Community Meals
Caregiving can feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to be. A supportive community is here.
Are you caregiving for a loved one impacted by cancer over the age of 55? Join us for a meal in a compassionate, welcoming space where you can relax, recharge, and connect with fellow caregivers who truly understand. Trained student volunteers will also be attending, offering extra support and companionship. Guest speakers will cover topics such as self-care and stress management, communication with healthcare providers, managing cancer side effects, preventing caregiver burnout, accessing financial support, and nutrition during treatment.
Caregiving dinners are held at:
Gilda’s Club @ Durfee Innovation Society
2470 Collingwood St. Rooms. 118 + 120
Detroit, MI 48206
